Today, I learned that my doctor lost all of my immunization records. I can't start law school without them. FML

I wonder if you can sue him? I guess now you'll never know.

Looks like it's time for... SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS, SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS, SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS, SHOTS! (Seriously though, that sucks. I'm sorry.)

City hall should be able to help you- the health department has to have those records on file. Also- you can go to your doctor and ask them to screen your blood for "titers" which is proof of previous vaccines (it's a build up of antibodies for varying diseases). Good luck

Not only are immunizations recorded by the state, but in 48/50 states you can get an immunization exemption that will get you out of the "vaccine requirement" in everything but the medical field and military.

iI'm just puzzled you need this to be allowed to start law school...

Get a titer (blood test) done. It will show which vaccines you need/have. Lost is a loose word since most states have a database of immunization records.

The exact same thing happened to me. Call your undergrad, and get them to send a copy of your immunization records to your law school.

I sometimes wonder what people think when they press YDI. only 400 people, but still? How did they deserve this? :/

Get them from your school. By law they have them.
