Do what you gotta do. Discipline is not starting an altercation. Especially when you ended another.
Your apartment complex manager’s name wouldn’t be Susan, by any chance, would it?
I thought it was discipline and reprimanding, security thought it was an altercation. My son is usually extremely responsible, but he's also a dumb teenager, as teenagers are prone to be. He and his cousin and friends were playing around and he got carried away. She said afterward that they were playing, but being held under triggered her anxiety and I responded to her panic. She wasn't under for long and she got him back. But I don't yell often and, yes, I yelled at him this time. That was the "altercation."

It's not an altercation. It's called discipline.
