Today, I learned that, when choking on a piece of food, you can cough hard enough to partially prolapse a hemorrhoid. FML

I don't know what "prolapse" means, bit of it involves both hemorrhoids AND choking, I'm guessing it's awful.

A prolapse is basically when something falls out of place. A hemorrhoid prolapse is when an internal hemorrhoid falls/extrudes outside of the anus. I'd keep an eye on that op, if you are using cream and it doesn't go away on its own after a week or so you may want to see a doctor. Hemorrhoids can be difficult to get rid of apparently and sometimes surgery is needed.
