Today, I learned the reason they say don't keep your phone in high humidity places. I left my phone on the counter when I went to take a shower. It now won't turn on due to water damage and the warranty doesn't cover it. FML

Technically it's not liquid damage because the h2o wasn't in a liquid state when it damaged your iPod. It was in a gaseous state. When h2o is water, it's liquid, when it's ice, it's a solid, when it's vapour, it's a gas. You should tell your phone company to take grade school science. They might say no but a lawyer could probably argue this in a court of law.

The best thing to do is put your phone in a baggy of uncoiled rice. Trust me it totally works
