Today, I leave Ireland after a 5 month study abroad. Today also happens to be the day that the price of alcohol decreases by 30%, the dollar increases by 15% and the girl I have been chasing the whole time, to no avail, finally decides to show an interest in me. FML

If she did show interest, that's only cuz you've been chasing after her for years and it's been a massive ego boost for her. Now that you're leaving for 5 months, she wants to let you think she's interested so you don't find someone else in Ireland and forget about her.

the people commenting about drink only dropping a few cent obviously haven't been to tesco, the price of a shoulder of vodka dropped by like a euro and the litre bottles are down by like a fiver!:)

heh.. Gotta understand Irish women. Tease ya until its too late. And of course the budget had to go through weeks ago. My sincere apologies! But when the guy I started dating told me he loved me, I told immigrwtion to feck off and ended up staying for 2 years. Now were getting married! I'm happier than I ever could have been.
