And that's why I never lend anything worth more than $20. Even then, I'd have to consider how well I know the person. I once let a friend-by-association borrow a fairly new book and she returned it with the cover ripped off and the whole book looking beaten up.
I figure it's safe to lend something worth twenty bucks or less or that amount of cash to pretty much anyone I associate with on a regular basis. If they pull a douchemove like this, it's worth twenty bucks to get them out of my life. And to show me their character.
That's not a real friend.
Years and years ago a "friend" borrowed my SNES and gave me their NES to hold on to. They then proceeded to do the same thing and move, with my SNES. However I feel like I got the better deal now, NES > SNES games.
What type of headphones were they? Were they Beats by Dre?
This is why I don't have friends. Period.
My parents always remind me to never let anyone borrow my expensive stuff, or else I'll get shitty excuses and never see it again.

Never lend to friends. Remember the notepad FML?
Tbh who lends someone $250 pair of head phones. Should of just bought him a $3 pair from a supermarket.
