Today, I'm 8 weeks pregnant and suffering from severe pregnancy brain. I was making my husband's lunch to take to work. I realised shortly after he left that I'd used dish soap instead of BBQ sauce for his sandwich. He has to turn his phone off for work, so I have no way to warn him. FML

And here he thought you were only joking when you said you'd wash his mouth out with soap the next time he said something you didn't like!

Really hope OP gives us a follow up to this :P

Yes pregnancy brain can make u do weird things. I forgot to do everyday things and cried over everything when I was pregnant. I feel your pain op

Can't you call the main number at his workplace and leave a message for him to call you? You wouldn't want him to go blind from ... soap poisoning.

Just 32 more weeks to go OP! And your brain will probably get better as you adjust to the hormones- in the mean time, just allot yourself extra time to go over stuff once you do it and make sure to keep well hydrated and well fed. As for the BBQ-Soap mix up- I'm guessing that the BBQ sauce was out on the counter to make the lunch, and OP's work area is by the sink. Put BBQ down by soap, get distracted, grab bottle, use, put down.

It's entirely possible if OP is sensitive to hormone changes.

My worst was between 4 and 10 weeks. Couldn't remember a damn thing, cried for no reason. After the first trimester it got way better

I had it. Everyone is different with pregnancy.

I was thinking the same thing

Call his workplace and ask to speak to him..?

Well at least you didn't make a cup of coffee and add a teabag as well to it. I'm so used to preparing both tea and coffee for my mom that I just did the motions without thinking.

If with only 8 weeks you are blaming it on Pregnancy Brain, I am sorry for your husband. It will be a long pregnancy

Better pick up some takeout- and do a switch out.... Or you'll never here the end of a bubble blowing tantrum.

How the....how is this even possible? I think you have way more going on than severe pregnancy brain. It takes some real effort to head over to the sink, grab the dish soap, and pour it onto a sandwich I mean those aren't even related activities.
