Today, I'm babysitting three children under the age of seven. They have no discipline, don't listen, scream all the time, won't nap, terrorize my dog, and have peed their pants a collective 5 times today. I am not getting paid for this. Their mother has no plans to come get them any time soon. FML

Today, I babysat the most annoying and obnoxious kids for almost eight hours, when the parents assured me that they would only be gone about three or so hours. After constant calling and worrying, they finally showed up at 11:30, completely drunk. The mother paid me with three dollars and a banana. FML

Today, I babysat the neighbors’ evil kids. They dropped them over at my house and I played with them for five hours. After taking the brats back home and putting them to bed, their mother asked me what time I came back to the house. She only paid me for the 20 minutes I was in their house. FML

Today, despite the fact that I'm really sick, my mom insisted that I come home and help babysit my cousins this weekend. When I got there, everyone else took off to do "errands," leaving me with three hyperactive, howler monkey-like children to deal with. FML

Today, I was babysitting. Being kind, I went to grab their mail, while their 4 year old ate lunch. He locked me out, wrecked the house, and let me in right when he saw their car two hours later. I didn't get paid. I paid them. FML

Today, I was shut in a boiling hot room with six children: a 10-year-old who kept shouting, a belligerent 7-year-old, two 5-year-olds who thought hitting me was funny and two 2-year-olds, who wouldn't stop crying. Their parents were just outside, laughing away, ignoring me. FML

I hate parents who don't discipline their kids. When they gets back, I hope you told them how you felt about the little demons, how it isn't normal for them to act like that and you will never watch them ever again.

you gotta be mean. i have six year old twin cousins and another 3 year old one. believe me i know how u feel. but when it gets to the point where they don't listen to anything, u have to be mean, scare em if u must haha. may i suggest locking em in a closet with the lights out for a few minutes, thats how i got the twins to listen haha

you're not being paid. just leave. it's the mother that has legal responsibility for the kids, not you. her problem if they wind up dead.

He cant just leave, whether it was a verbal or signed agreement to babysit, its a contract he agreed to do for no compensation. The kids are under his supervision, which i assume makes him the temporary legal gardian. Unless the kids are related, fyl for sure.
