First off, you guys have genuinely made me laugh, even the less than kind comments have been hilarious. To clarify: the tube of icing in question was snagged from a discount bin because the decorating tip was broken, and an improvised opening with a knife was required. I didn't gouge a hole in it because I was spelling something out and I didn't feel like getting icing everywhere. In regards to my weight, I'm honestly not that athletic, I am a bit on the plush side, and yes, I do need to work out more (I go on daily walks around the neighborhood with my dog as a start). Baby steps, right?

Different type of strength required for squeezing than for lifting anyways. Plus gripping icing tubes might cramp the muscles no matter what if you have to do a lot of prescicion work and aren't accustomed to it. Hell, you have to be careful to only squeeze hard enough to get it out while applying a constant pressure. That's tougher than just splatting it out everywhere.
Not necessarily a different type of strength, seeing that strength is just a type of force. Between lifting, and squeezing; They're different muscle groups that are being used. So the cause of her being sore afterwards is the fact that she just hasn't stimulated those specific muscles to that extent before.
Wow, could not have understood what they meant without your post. Not at all.
Mixing mayonnaise into tuna makes me feel the same way.
Yep. Time to start lifting and curling some milk jugs.
I bought a toothpaste slider and that helps quite a bit
It would make sense if there was hardly any icing left in the tube. If that isn't the case, lifting weights is a good start.
workout more :3
Toughen up cupcake
As a Baker I know how tiring that is, if you iced over four dozen I could understand the sore arms.

Baby steps are good. :) I'm skinny but flabby and out of shape, and walking my dog is the best exercise I can make myself do. I'd probably wear myself out doing the same. Keep up the good work!
Lucky! My daily exercises only include banana peeling and taking the cap off soda drinks.
