Today, I made a joke that my boyfriend was going to end up sending me into premature labor. Later, I went into labor for real. My boyfriend thought I was faking and refused to take me to the hospital. FML

To all of you people that say it was my fault, I didn't fake going into labor. I made a comment to my friend along the lines of "lol I'm gonna end up in labor."

That doesn't matter if she made a joke before, or as you say, lied about it. It's also possible to start going into labor but then it'll stop, which happened to me a couple of times. In the end I had to be induced after I was past term.

It's kind of obvious when you're in labour though... No way can you lie about it ! Your stomach goes rock hard, even harder then braxton hicks, and it's at intervals of several minutes apart... If her boyfriend really didn't believe her he should've just felt all that and realised she was telling the truth :/
