Since you said "premature": I hope it wasn't so early that they had to keep the baby in the preemie ward - just imagining to have to sleep at home without your new favourite human being sounds just so heartbreaking. All the best for you and yours!
It is heartbreaking, I spent 18 longs nights without my little boy while he was in special care. I'm glad it was only 18 days though. :)
So sorry you had to go through this! You are a very strong woman! Good to hear all is well in the end. I was lucky enough to have two very easy, on-time births. I was able to take both babies home a couple hours after birth. But I remember the first few days even leaving the room they were sleeping in to go to the toilet felt really weird.
My labour was pretty straight forward, just early. He was a good weight too and breathing on his own. I was shocked though since I only found out I was pregnant at 20 weeks and 13 weeks later there was a baby on my chest haha!
Wow, 20 weeks is really late to find out! Didn't you have any symptoms or were you just explaining them away? I knew even before I took the test or had the period missing, both times. My breasts were hurting and I had to pee twice as often only days after conception.
irregular periods, no symptoms bar horrible heartburn and sickness. Took a few tests which came back negative, asked my doctor, who was useless on this occasion and just said I was unlikely to be pregnant if the home tests said I wasn't. had a period a few weeks later so thought nothing of it. got a mysterious bump a few months later and took another test an it was positive
Probably full of regret when he saw the babies head crowning
I would have taken the amniotic fluid from my water breaking and dumped it on him to prove it was real lol
Thats also really gross to even wanna do
Take a joke, y'all...
Well hopefully he realized... if he didn't, then he's an idiot for not being able to interpret your painful screams
So uhm, you cried wolf? :)
No, I didn't fake labor. I told a friend that if my boyfriend didn't stop messing with me, I was gonna end up in labor.
At least it all turned out well :)
Why are so many people making babies without getting married
Aww, that sucks OP, I hope you made it to the hospital eventually, and congrats!

Tell him to let you grab his hand to help you through the pain; and then break his fingers. Then he'll surely drive you to the hospital.
The pregnant woman that cried wolf... Very painful story.
