My ex was like that - it started off as just an "I'm picky, deal with it" and progressed to them throwing a mug of hot tea at my head because it hadn't been prepared "correctly" (i.e. i didn't stir the sugar enough). That's not a reasonable human being. I hope you're not trying to use your BF as an example of acceptable behaviour!

YDI - not because you did anything wrong with the soup (making it for her, bringing it to her, etc.) but because you have such an evil bitch for a GF. Seriously... time to pull up stakes and move on.
