You're lovely OP. I don't know what his problem was. Maybe he's been trying to take classes from those "pickup artists." In that case, I'd say considering you didn't hook up I would assume, you're smarter than their targets too

I certainly didn't hook up with him. No matter what he said, I am not the type to hook up just for a compliment. I don't really understand why men think that we all do. Some girls do it, great, good for them. And those pickup artist are really oblivious to what women are like.
