No you're not hardcore *no you're not hardcore* If you don't live hardcore *if you don't live hardcore*
What?
Sounds like the tennis court in the trailer park down the street. Girlfriend's dad's always stuck....tennis with your girlfriend's dad sucks balls.
It's only a test, give it time and if he sees you are serious about dating his daughter he will loosen up. Good luck OP
Dude, every single parent will give you a hard time until they can trust that you have good intentions. Ride out the crap at the start and prove through your actions that you're in it for the right reasons and they will come around
It is his job as her farther to hate you at first. if you can prove you are good for his daughter, then maybe he will like you. I do have a question though. Where the hell do you play tennis that has gravel courts?
That's what I was thinking...
op might be mistaking gravel for clay.
Mistake gravel for clay?? Really? How ******* bright does one need to be to tell the difference? Like mistaking a dirt road road for asphalt....should be obvious. Just sayin
so if I meet my daughters gf for the first time and I don't hate it,then I must not be doing my job then???? the father is just being stupid and immature, he should stop being a dick and be civil toward his daughters gf
Aww I'm sorry OP! Dads are a little over protective at first. Just try and get to know him slowly overtime. Hopefully everything works out :)
Oh OP, I feel so bad for you. My father and (now ex) partner never got along, they even came to blows at one stage. (at my 21st party of all places!) Eventually they managed to be amicable and civil to one another and all the brew haha was water under the bridge. Keep your chin up, shoulders back and firmly stand your ground (without being impolite, rude etc) and eventually your gf's dad will see the type of person you are and why his daughter wants to be with you. Then you have the chance to be the 'bigger man' & let everything go. That should impress your gf's mum too & having her on your side is an ace you will want to keep.
Why do parents always gotta be hating
At least he likes you...in pain? Nope, still sucks.

When it said that the dad smashed the ball at OP, I was waiting for it to say "and it smashed mine too." Look on the bright side, he didn't hit a tennis ball into your junk.
Have a smirk on your face. You got his daughter around your arms. Even if it's torn a little bit
