Marriage is illegal in Texas anyways. In 2005, we (not me, but the majority of the voters here) approved a constitutional amendment defining marriage as being between one man and one woman. The small-minded bigots who crafted the legislation tried to put in language to forbid civil unions, but the language is screwed up. It clearly nullifies all marriage. Ha-ha, you idiots!

Here it is: The Texas Constitution. Article 1. The Biil of Rights Sec. 32. MARRIAGE. (a) Marriage in this state shall consist only of the union of one man and one woman. (b) This state or a political subdivision of this state may not create or recognize any legal status identical or similar to marriage. (Added Nov. 8, 2005.) No one is married here in Texas. We banned it four years ago!!!
