Today, I met this really nice guy at the mall and he gave me his number. Later that night, I texted him. We got on the subject of food, and I started talking about how much I love veal. He responded with saying I was supporting animal murder, that I should go to hell and lose his number. FML

Today, while out for lunch, a guy approached me and asked for my number. I politely declined. To my dismay, he dropped to his knees, grabbed his head, and started moaning about how nobody ever gives him a chance. I felt the accusing stares. FML

Today, I went on my first date with a girl I have been infatuated with for months. At the restaurant, the waiter came while she was in the bathroom. I ordered steaks for both of us. Turns out, she is vegetarian, and doesn't like it when men are "overly aggressive." She called me a cow murderer. FML

#295: I'm vegetarian, and have never needed to take any kind of suppliment. That's because I pay attention to what I eat and make sure I get what my body requires. You can have meat as part of a healthy diet, but you don't *have* to have it; there are multiple sources for everything you need. That's part of what put us at the top of the food chain in the first place; our wide omnivorous scope of dietary sources meant we were able to easily adapt when any particular source disappeared. Also, "how our bodies were intended to be fuelled" is only an argument you can make if you are a creationist.

It's murder to unnecessarily kill any animal for food, but veal is the worst. The guy was right about going to hell, but didn't make his point strong enough.
