"As for everyone saying "You're sick for eating a baby cow!" grow up. Does a baby cow feel any more pain than an adult cow that is killed the same way? No. It's just the fact emotional attatchment to small 'cute' things getting in the way of your logical reasoning. Double-standards based on 'cuteness' factor is ridiculous." Good job #346 "xsamuraixlbx", someone with common sense.
i agree with him. maybe he wasn't being respectful to you, but how respectful is it to eat the dead corpse of a little baby cow taken away from its mother at birth (to the mother's great distress) and put in such a small cage, it couldn't turn around? To give money to people who feed the cow gross unnatural things and don't let it see the light of day? Of all the FMLs on here, ydi the most. Go burn in hell.
wow to all you people saying eating veal is wrong watch the episode of southpark thats kinda like this watch what happens to stan at the end. that is you. and eating meat, no matter where it comes from, is part of the food chain. and op, sorry about the douschy guy, if hes like that you probably shouldnt have tried to call him anyway
To all the people out there that are vomiting out the horrible "truth" of veal, please stop. It's bad enough that we have to deal with PETA, but the lies after lies that they circulate are far worse. Veal isn't always, and usually rarely is the chemical fed calfs in cages. if it's good veal, it's a calf that has been raised naturally for about 10 months, and is slaughtered....end of story, get on with your life, it's done with it's. to you vegans that are so against meat, go spend five weeks out in a forest, and live purely on your vegtables and fruits, and see if it's so glorious to spare the rabbit when you lack vital nutrients. And OP, lose that's wimps number.
mmmmmmm... Veal! you guys missed the point. totally. this isn't a veg- not veg discussion. this is a discussion about this guy and how rude was he, not showing any respect or manners whatsoever. He could've just say - "hey I don't like you eating meat, sorry I think it would be best if we could cut this thing off."
If people weren't meant to eat meat pigs would be faster and cows would taste bad. I hate when people are this terrible because someone doesn't share the same values or beliefs as them. It's no excuse at all. And for the people attacking the OP for eating veal..any of you done proper research or you just believing what you've been told? I grew up on a cattle farm, and the conditions of the animals were perfectly fine. None were mistreated and no calfs were sealed in dark rooms until their day of slaughter.
Maybe you should invest in a sense of humor instead of flaming people on the internet. It was a joke. And really, human meat would be the best things for us to eat, since our bodies would have to work less to break it down to be usable for our systems. It's just if people eat human brains they supposedly get a disease. And "just because something can be done, doesn't mean it should be" works just as well for my argument as yours. Just because people can live on just veggies, doesn't mean they should.
usually it's the girl who's the vegitarian. well, I'd date you. veggies are good, but only beside the meat!
It's technically not cruel if the animals were bred to be eaten. They have no other purpose.

Well, I mean, it's not the most politically correct meat on the planet. It seems he may be a vegetarian. You should probably lose his number anyway. I mean, you met him at the mall.
Wow, well if hes going to be like that for not being vegan, not worth your time. I'm vegetarian myself but I realize it's not for everyone.
