Today, I noticed my nephew has blue eyes, freckles and dimples which don't run in my family or my sister's husband's family, but they do run in my husband's family. FML

Run a DNA test on both. Then kick ass if your poor sweet nephew is your stepson.

Maybe you're over reacting? Sorry :(

I think you're just looking for something to worry about. Look hard enough, and you'll be able to see that those traits run in a LOT of peoples' families. But if you're truly, deeply bothered by this, consult the most Biology-fluent person you know (no, it can't be Google), and also ask them if confronting your husband about this is a good idea. Do NOT only go on the words of Oprah, Cosmo, and yourself.

Get some contact lenses and you'll notice you nephew's acne. CTFD, you may not have exclusive access to your husband's sperm, but you do have the strongest claim on his other assets. Turns out that sperm in not a rare or valuable commodity.

I hope your suspicions are wrong for your sake. Genetics are difficult to predict sometimes. My daughter I assumed would have had my dark hair and eyes. She has light brown hair, green eyes (nobody in either mine nor hubbys family has green eyes). When she was born, she had platinum blonde hair. I am japanese and italian. hubby is white. And yes she is his child. Physical features are similiar (same smile and eye shape) Just the eye color and hair is diff.

What others have said about genetics is spot-on. Absent other evidence of cheating, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Stop being so paranoid.

It could be a recessive gene you don't know about, now you could possibly cause huge drama with the whole family because you didn't research...just sayin

Don't assume until you get test done.

Good luck figuring out whats going on

You never know what you'll get out of the gene pool. Try not to worry too much.
