Today, I put an anonymous note under my neighbour's door asking them to not have sex so loudly during the day. Since then, I haven't heard any sex. Unfortunately, I have heard a woman crying loudly because she just found out about her husband's affair. FML

Today, I got an anonymous letter, stating my condo's community and all my neighbors can hear me having sex. Not only that, but kids gather around my window to listen. FML

Today, I came back to my dorm only to hear my neighbor having loud sex. I thought I was just thinking when I said, "At least do it against the other wall," but when I was left later on, he walked by, apologized and said that he thought I wasn't home, and promised to be more quiet next time. FML

Today, I heard my neighbors having a violent argument in their front yard. I listened in, and soon found out why the wife wasn't happy with her husband. Apparently, she had caught her husband peeking through my windows for the second time this month. FML

Today, my landlord sent me a text asking me to please keep it down because our loud Wednesday night sex sessions are disturbing other tenants in the building. Wednesday is my night shift every week so my wife is home alone, or at least I thought she was. FML

Today, my husband and I were told by our elderly neighbors that they can hear us having sex a lot. To top it off, the elderly man said while patting his wife's arm with a smile, "Carol used to make noises like that too, back in the day." FML

I agree with davek. An act of justice is exactly what it is. You did the right thing. You did not ruin the relationship, the cheating husband did. He has no one to blame but himself.

YOUR life is ****** because you hear someone crying? So what? He cheated, you put the note on the door, neither of you deserve any pity from me. The person who should be upset, and rightly so, is the woman. 1) because her husband cheated, 2) because her neighbor is a nosy little trollop who spends her time at home listening to people having sex and writing other people's business online.

how is this the OP's fault? she didn't 'listen' to them have sex on purpose. She wrote the note because it was annoying.

No, not the part about people having sex. But she wrote a note and then heard some poor, abandoned woman crying about her husband cheating and her first instinct is to write it online.
