Hello all ... I've just seen the comments on this ... There were quite a few comments assuming that since I fished out a 2 buck coin from a dunny, that I'd be an unemployed dole bludger. I've never been on any sort of welfare. The previous comment of Sydney being a very expensive city to live in was correct. I don't earn that much, generally between $700-$1100 a week, depending on how busy work is, but I've never been a 'dole bludger', I work very hard, thank you very much.

You fish it out, you wash hour hand, you've made $2 in 45 seconds. Considering a simple job pays $6 $14-ish (depending on where you live and the value of your currency) for an hour of work that's not bad. It annoys me that people seem to devalue money just because it's in a dirty place yet they'll punish themselves psychologically with a miserable job for hours at a time for less of a deal. Think of it as a public service, if money effectively disappears down the toilet however small it contributes to inflation with zero benefit to anyone.
