I agree. You did not ask this to happen to you. I'm sorry that people made fun of you in school, as I know how that can feel. And I'm glad you have a boyfriend and loving family to support you. However, you DID post your story on a site full of trolls, and assholes. So... Anything said to you should be expected, even if it's not right on any level of moral sense. Having said that, I wish people were not such assholes all the time. But they are. So if you didn't want them to be, you shouldn't have posted.

how you view yourself greatly effects what you actually look like. start telling yourself you're pretty, even if you don't believe it at first, and you might believe it. once you believe it, your appearance will actually improve. it takes a while to work so don't get frustrated and give up.

Be honest, OP. Does being attractive automatically cause happiness? Will you ever be the world's most beautiful woman? You'll lose more by incessantly comparing yourself than you can possibly gain. Find yourself a counselor who specializes in reality therapy techniques, which would help greatly with your situation. Good luck! :)

OP - Sorry to hear about your problems, but I have a kind of relevant question for you. How do you get on Pandora living in Canada? Our laws made it so it was blocked back a few years ago...don't remember when exactly and it hasn't been accessible from a Canadian I.P since then (to my knowledge, I double checked just to be sure and It still says it's restricted to Canadian I.P addresses) I used the website quite frequently, and would like to know how you found a work around for this problem. -Svarsengel-
