Today, I realized that my bike was stolen. It was no big deal, my name and number was on it, but it was a crappy bike anyway. I live 3 miles away, and while I was on my walk home I noticed a bike had been thrown through my principal's window. Who's bike was it? Mine. FML

your principal's window. are you SURE you're not bart simpson?

The thing is, especially with that information on it, who WOULD throw their own bike through the principal's window? So I don't think you have anything to worry about, OP.

Just tell him you lost control a bit. I'm sure he'll understand.

Dude, I think you're missing the point. The bike had HIS name on it and it had been THROWN through the principals window, it's not as if the principal had stolen it.

I'm assuming the OP was at some sort of school, since those are the only places that have principals. Which would then mean they lived 3 miles from the school that they attended. Yes, it is a poorly written FML, but I didn't think it was THAT hard to figure out...

oh wow, that sucks so bad. hopefully your principal will be understanding, although I doubt that will happen

Jeeze.. Some people have such a low self-esteem that they feel the need to find ANY flaw, even a COMMON flaw, to poke at. -Spelling- Stop being such a downer and go find someone to give you a pity hug. As for the fml, the kid could talk his way out of it, because who WOULD be so stupid to do that? Unless the kid has a record of doing stupid shit like this of course. Someone clearly hates his guts.

This FML reminds me of an old tire commercial. Sorry. =(

Doesn't sound like an FML to me. Actually it looks like everything was fine. The bike was found, and it did some good while it was missing.

They live 3 miles from something - it obviously doesn't matter what - and on this 3 mile walk they passed their principal's house. They didn't have to go inside the house to see it, or look through the window; probably the cops had been called and the bike was out in the driveway in plain view. Happy? It's terribly written; big deal, get over it.
