Today, I realized that my manager and I have synchronized menstrual cycles. She gets extremely bitchy, and I get extremely vulnerable and emotional - she yells at me and I burst into tears. FML

That sucks! She needs to calm down and you need chocolate :)

Aww! This sounds like the worst sitcom ever.

That really sucks for you, but this FML just made my day. Thank you for sharing- it's epic. Sorry you have to put up with it though.

Haha I'm glad I entertained you.

Did she say she had her period? Girls don't need an excuse to be "angry" and u really shouldn't think "oh she has her period cause she's all bitchy" girls r mad sometimes off and on there period, not just on it.

If you spend enough time with someone to sync your cycles, you learn when they're bad-mood-bitchy and when they're PMS-bitchy.

Its already bad that a woman president would have a five year period...

OP, sorry your workplace is so unprofessional. Hope you can develop your professional skills, use them at all times, and insist that others treat you in a professional manner. Skills trump hormones (male or female).

Sad but true, women in close working environments can synchronise menstrual cycles with the 'alpha' female. You can't change your boss's behavior, but maybe you can speak to your doctor about how to manage your emotional highs and lows during your period. In this case it can be as simple as taking a diuretic pill to relieve fluid retention. All the best.

Deff made my day, too. Me and my friend are sync'd and well.. We're all sorts of chocolate craved idiots who randomnly cry and then bite our lover's head off.. But they just deliver chocolate.. Haha

Aww :( I'm sorry about that, OP. That's totally like me and my mom. She has these insane violent tendencies and afterwards I go to my room and cry and then I wake up in the morning and I'm like, "What the **** was I crying about again?" Usually, painkillers will help! I mean, they're supposed to only help with cramps and stuff, but you'll feel better on them than not. Good luck!
