Today, I’ve been growing dreads for two years after I lost my hair to chemo. After visiting my boyfriend’s family, we all contracted lice from the kids. Even though I did the shampoo and treatment, my locks are too coiled to effectively comb out all the nits. I have to shave my head again. FML

Today, my boyfriend, who hasn't shaved in a month, went to go shave. I was pretty excited since his beard was starting to make my face itch whenever we kissed. When he came out of the bathroom he had a handlebar mustache. FML

Some people are just plain stupid. Having live =/= being dirty and nasty I take regular showers, but had lice on many occasions. Lice prefer clean hair. So, having lice actually means you're a clean person that just happened to come in contact with another clean person who somehow got the lice from somewhere. And to all the people saying "get treatment"... Combing the corpses of the lice out of the hair IS part of the treatment. Applying some solution or shampoo won't magically make the lice disappear. It just makes their airways clog up, aka make them choke to death. But their bodies will still be there. So, naturally, you take a fine comb (or lice comb) and, well, comb them out of your hair. It's easy as that.
