Today, as I was perusing old photos with my mother, I found one of her with a "childhood friend" at her wedding to my dad. Now I know where my green eyes and blotchy neck birthmark came from, and it's not from the man I’ve been calling "dad" for 40 years. FML

Today, I got very dressed up and was excited for my uncle's wedding. While standing in line for photos, I heard my dad's voice from behind me say "Who's the hot chick in the brown dress?" My uncle responds "Uh, that's your daughter." Silence. FML

I thought it was fitting for the new girlfriend to be someone that the father knew before... I mean it's not like he's dating a random **** he doesn't know. It's better to date a **** you know than to date a random **** (not implying that the new girlfriend is a ****, she could be a very nice woman)
