Today, I received a letter telling me I'm not qualified for a job I've been unofficially doing for the last three years. It's the fourth letter I've gotten since applying. I guess it wouldn't be too bad if I didn't have to train the new person who got the job instead of me. FML

Quit unofficially doing the job and say you're not qualified to train the new hire.

Have you considered performing small acts to express your dissatisfaction with the company? I'd recommend starting off by burning the building down and working your way up from there.

If you're qualified enough to train someone else in how to do it, you'd think they'd find you qualified enough to be the one who does it. Logic clearly isn't a common thing.

Simple, refuse to train them. Unless specifically stated in your contract you are responsible for training. This does not come under the 'anything reasonably expected clause' as they cannot reasonably expect you to do something that they admit you are not qualified for.

I wouldnt do a single bit of training. no offense to the new guy but he can find someone else to train him.
