Take this as an opportunity to look at yourself from the outside and work on areas of your personality that you may need to improve.
#86, I don't think the co-worker is being childish. She doesn't want to hang out with a certain person, and probably with good reason. She has every right to try to avoid somebody she doesn't really like. Don't act like you hang out with people you don't like. Everybody, whether they admit it or not, tries to avoid annoying people.
To all the people saying there must be something wrong with her if they want to avoid her, yes, that is a possibility, but if a woman is catty enough to actually put that in an email she's probably catty enough to hate on someone for no reason. Even if she is the most obnoxious person ever, them pretending they like her then talking shit behind her back is ******* childish and I think those type of people are the most obnoxious creatures ever. And if she needs to emphasize to the other girls not to tell her, then they've clearly been including her thus far. How is she supposed to know what she's doing wrong if they give no indication of a problem? Moral of the story: **** those bitches.
Yeah, I'm with number two. You totally should have showed up anyway. :]

I hope you still showed up, just to piss them off.
I hope you either a) emailed her back saying thanks for the head's up that you weren't wanted, or b) just showed up anyway
