My friend has done the same thing. Twice. You're not alone.
Sucks dude - I've come pretty close as well. I used to mark it everywhere & never forget, but priorities change & while I could still be excited for a show, it's not top thing on my mind or that big a deal...so easy to forget the date. Not much to say though...can't do anything about it now :-(
There's these things called phones that can remind you of events at a date and time of your choosing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ the more you know YDI
No offense, but ydi. If you really wanted to go to this concert you would have remembered.
That's not necessarily true. If she didn't put it in her phone or calendar right away, then it's understandable she forgot. It's not that she didn't want to go, it's that there are other priorities and responsibilities in life that you often get overwhelmed by. Things can get so crazy and busy it's overwhelming, especially this time of year. Doesn't mean she didn't want to go.
I can understand it if you booked it six months ago or a year but last month?
How the **** do you forget to go to a concert? Some things are to awesome to forget about.
couldn't have wanted to go too badly then...
And you forgot because of the substances you were abusing?

Were you not excited for it? When I buy tickets, I mark up the date of the concert/event all over my planner, calendar, phone, fridge... And I even call off work and ignore all my responsibilities for that one night.
Get a filofax. Or a phone. And use the calendar.
