Today, I returned home to find out that my new and very expensive computer had overheated. I confronted my mom, and she told me that she had covered up the fan because she didn't like the noise. FML

Today, my laptop has its own likes and dislikes. The cooler keeps spinning crazily, causing loud annoying noise when I use the laptop at my parent's house, and functions perfectly silent at my place. Careful inspection proved full working order. What's going on? FML

Today, my OCD mother got mad because I wouldn't let her turn the fan over my head at a higher speed than low. She's got every other fan going at high speed but not aimed at herself, while I'm trying to work from home without the wind in my face for 8 hours. FML

Today, I finally found out why my graphics card in my PC had been overheating recently. My brother disconnected the card's fan because it was too loud when he was gaming. I guess I can always spend another $750. FML

Today, I received my new laptop in the mail and put it on the kitchen counter, where my family charges all our electronics. My mom then decided to make soup and spilt chicken broth all over my new laptop before I even got the chance to turn it on. FML

Today, my mom has been calling me every ten minutes, asking me questions about her new computer. She called me at work, and I rudely answered her question. She called back, talked to my boss, saying she was a customer that called in, and I was rude to her. FML

i don't understand you. just turn off the comp and things like that wouldn't happennn! anddd.. you're always supposed to get a cooler for the comp and a very expensive one shouldnt make any noise. sorry buddy.

All I can say is if this did happen, if the computer did actually sustain damage, I hope your mom helps at least pay for part of it, and I hope you didn't make it yourself - sucks to have all that time down the drain (if it did do permanent damage).

dam ur mom is dumb, water cooling is nt that loud, it quieter than an hair dryer, that is what my mom used to do to my computer, through in a punch of disc that she found under the couch, and got it touch
