Today, I returned home to find out that my new and very expensive computer had overheated. I confronted my mom, and she told me that she had covered up the fan because she didn't like the noise. FML

you know all newer computers come with an auto shutoff for when it gets to hot. your computer is fine, just give it a min to cool down and boot it back up.

Technically only the skin cells on the surface that you can see are dead... Under the surface they are very much alive and reproducing. Otherwise you would never heal from cuts or scrapes

Usually if it overheats it turns off. You can turn it back on. I don't see why this is a FML
