Today, I returned home to find out that my new and very expensive computer had overheated. I confronted my mom, and she told me that she had covered up the fan because she didn't like the noise. FML

my mom vacuumed inside my computer once, fried the CPU, Motherborad and RAM from the static of the hoover. She at least bought me new (and better) components :)

computers do have a sleep function. unless you're trying to upload a video or something. in which case i just take a piece of paper and write do not touch and tape it to my mac's screen
