Today, I saw a bug on a stranger's arm and as a knee-jerk reaction smacked it. It took me a second before I realized it was actually a loose scab. FML

Ydi all the way. Even if it was a bug, wouldn't you just tell them they have a bug on their knee?

Did they instinctively smack your face?

I would have smacked you...and by 'smack', I mean punch....and by 'punch', I mean shank.

It was nice of OP to try to get the bug off of a stranger, but I have a feeling most people would say something like, "Excuse me, there's a bug on your arm!!" and THEN help them get it off. YDI for that, OP.

That was the first mistake you noticed.

That's a reaction you might want to stop.

Just like to point out you can always lie and say there really WAS a bug but maybe you missed it and it flew away. Sometimes lying is the appropriate course of action

Did it every occur to that maybe, you should stay out of people's business? Next time say "excuse me, but you have a bug on your arm" instead of just smacking them!

Don't touch people you don't know. It's rude.
