Today, I was emailing a government employee at the place I'm hoping to get hired by. I realized too late I had been emailing her with my personal email address, which is rather jokey and unprofessional. She noticed and started referring to me as that. FML

Am I the only one here who has considered that the OP might have been mentally unable to ask her out in person? Some people just can't do it in person. Besides that, not all guys are as confident as you seem to think they are.

Dude I totally know how you feel that happened to me last year. It went further than that, with me telling her in person and her freaking out. Haven't really talked to her since. Hang in there :/
