No no no, don't leave him. Marry him.
OP, long distance relationships are tricky and require a lot of patience. Many guys out there (including my guy) get freaked out by long texts and are not capable of composing an appropriate reply expressing their feelings. Don't worry, a minion isn't a bad sign! In such situations where you expect some sort of reciprocation, a phonecall is the better option. :)
I have yet to figure out why this is so bad.
