Another text message FML? My goodness. lol. Just get over it. If you didn't tell him in person, then you don't love him enough. Some guys just can't stand that stuff especially if it's over text or instant message,
I agree with #1: I'm the same way, if u don't say it in person don't bother texting it.
wow fail
It says Marine, and if she had class, that probably means that she's across the country taking classes where she's stationed. So she probably couldn't tell him in person. Think about things sometimes
this is not an FML at all.
Dude, text messages just do not allow enough characters for that shit. Some things should only be done in person.
Two things: 1) You should be ******* paying attention in class, not texting your boyfriend. I don't care how hottt he is. 2) Trying to be romantic over SMS is pitiful. Say it to his face.
i think the op meant her boyfriend thought she was classy
I think he just didn't want her to miss class texting him. Maybe he really is just a good caring boyfriend.
Maybe he thought it was awkward that you said that and didn't know how to respond. Maybe it would be less awkward if you told him in person. I say it's a FYL.
Marines=Most likely across country. classes in the Marine corps get cancelled alllllllll the time. Probably couldn't tell him in person if she wanted to
I think I would have totally responded this way, with the intention of it being coy. Maybe a smiley on the end to drive the point home. Maybe a wink? There's no emoticon for what I'm feeling!
I think by "class" he meant "standards", as in he was being self-depreciating in order to compliment you. Really, a bit of a semantic fail on both your parts, but this is not an FML moment...
If you actually expected him to write a sappy romantic text back: 1.) Guys don't write love letters anymore 2.) If they did it wouldn't be via text 3.) Nobody will ever feel bad for you here or elsewhere for complaining about the heartaches of text messages. They're annoying and only useful in a few situations; and pronouning undying love is not one of them.
#4...I thought he was saying she had class like she was "classy," not literal class...I could be wrong. That's the only way she could think it was a FML. Another note: exactly what #3said.
