Hello OP here. I am a gay male and put up my info as so however several clueless straight men apparently only look at the picture and not the info (this is why I figured it would be okay for her to be in the picture) has led to many interesting conversations for sure

That certainly clears things up! The conversations that followed must have been hilarious. But seriously considering the dating aspect of the site, wouldn't it be better for you to join a gay dating site? It's a bit more specific, so meeting someone who won't be interested in you due to sexuality will be less likely.
