Yeah, don't sleep with your boss, it never ends well.
You kinda deserved it for ******** where you eat, never a good idea to complicate things like that
Ok.. I'm having a hard time with all the judgemental answers here on FML.. It's hard to weigh in, without a lot of info. I don't see anything wrong with dating/sleeping with your deputy as long as you both are consenting adults, and are able to handle whatever consequences that come of your actions.. Now WRT your roommate, she should fall back. You are entitled to sleep with anyone of your choice regardless of whether your housemate has done em' or not... If he dated your housemate in the past and it didn't work out for whatever reason, that's not for you to worry about. Also your roommates should respect the fact that he's with you now... However, if this deputy is a serial player and was doing you two on the side, then that's a new ball game; with your post it's a little difficult to decipher if that's the case... Finally, looking for a new job??!! I have a feeling that this maybe this isn't heading in the right direction or maybe you both are not handling this like adults..
@34: Srsly? Repeat after me "conflict of interest." Only a drama queen sleeps with their co-workers; it NEVER ends well.
Personally, I would be cool with dating a coworker/manager (but I also haven't had a date in 9 years because I'm jist not attracted to people.) I wouldn't however, sleep with them just for the privilege. It's just a bad idea in general.
When someone is sleeping with a boss impartiality is gone and all of the other employees have to deal with that. Even if the boss manages to maintain some semblance of professionalism in the workplace there will always be the perception of favoritism because they're sharing a bed with one of the employees. I'm a little surprised this needs to be explained.
This has 'You Deserve It' written all over. You made your bed now you need to lie in it. Just keep your legs closed.
Why do you come here for sympathy?
Don't dollar colon semicolon t where you eat, OP. YDI.
Never mix business with pleasure. Unless pleasure IS your business.
