Today, I spent over $160 and 2 hours preparing for a Halloween party I was throwing. The only person who showed up was my sister, who helped me decorate. FML

You either need to get some friends OP, or .. nah.. You really just need to get some friends.

Next time, don't forget to tell people about your party. And by "people", I mean "friends of yours who might want to come". And make sure some plan on coming.. That, or just move to one of the several countries where people don't celebrate Halloween. You'll save money ! Problem solved

Not that RSVP's are fool-proof, but you might require a response to your invitation next time so you have a head count for the party before spending the time and money.

omg the SAME THING happened to me too. :( i was really sad i spent so much time and money setting up and nobody showed. it turns out they were all at this other girl's party. she told everyone to go to her party and not tell them they weren't coming to mine.

#19 -- Wow! She may have suggested it but your "friends" went along with it like a bunch of lemmings....rude lemmings. Brings to mind the adage, "With friends like these, who needs enemies?" I hope you took that cosmic clue and found yourself new friends.

dam that sucks next time I have a party you should come ;P

Today, I woke up with a hangover. And didn't get it from OPs party. FTW
