Today, I stepped on the MacBook Air I purchased 4 days ago. The screen snapped in two, and I didn't buy insurance because I promised myself I would be "extra careful." $3500 well spent. FML

How can you step on your macbook if you are "extra carefull"??? Putting it on the floor, or maybe you did dance on the table?, isn't carefull at all!

that happened to my boyfriend's MacBook pro. the screen broke in a weird pattern. i took it in and they said because of that they could replace it under apple care for free. but even if you had the insurance it wouldn't have covered stepping on it. i told them my cat must have jumped on it at night.

You spent $3,500 on that? My Alienware was cheaper

Next time, don't spent 3500 on a ******* laptop. YDI

You're an idiot if you'd spend over a thousand on an outdated laptop

YDI for putting it in a place that you could step on it. Idiot.

Either you were scammed when you bought it, or the casing better be gold leaf. MacBook Airs don't cost more than $1500.

No Macbook Air costs that much. They top out at like $1500

Jesus christ those tiny low powered things are that expensive? My gaming beast didn't cost that much!

Why was it on the floor? That sounds like the opposite of being really careful.
