Today, I superglued my headphones back together. They weren't dry before I put them back in my ears. FML

well all the other headphones that I have broke in like the first week and those ones had lasted 2 years so I wanted to keep them, plus, it's old superglue and I had let them dry for a couple of hours, although that doesn't mean I wasn't stupid to put them in my ears without checking. they didn't actually get stuck in there, it was just sticky and gross, the FML was that I was dumb enough to stick them in my ears without checking. =P

There is a lesson here kids, although duct tape, super glue & zipties WILL fix anything, when placed in the wrong hands they can create FAIL!

Agree with you 7. Buying new earphones 1)saves you trouble and 2)helps the quality of your music because chances are when you glue them back up you screwed them up more.

I modded this but said no cause it was full of typos. and OP, super glue dries real fast... did you glue and immeadiately stick them in you're ears? if not you got some crappy superglue...

the headphones might be expensive, I payed £80 for mine, but they were covered by warranty so Igot them replaced when they broke. I can understand why OP did that, I almost always end up sticking things to myself with superglue, even if I'm extra careful.

I did which is why they didn't stick permanantly. I like your assumption though. did you like my impression of a bitch? no? seriously though, I was an idiot for not checking before I actually put them in my ears. I guess I was just too eager to listen to my music XD

I did that once with my headphones. i got super glue in my hair. It's hell getting it out.

it really only costs 10-20 dollars for a good pair of earphones . and superglue , depending what kind can get to around 10 aswell . and if the headphones suck enough that you need superglue I think buying a new pair would be best :/ + ydi for not checking to see if they were dry or not before putting them in your ears

Actually, most earphones under $100 are just the same internals repackaged. To get good earphones you need to go over $100.

Maybe the OP already own the glue and didn't need to spend ANY extra money to fix his/her head phones. I keep super glue in my junk drawer. It's so quick to replace things but if you can fix it, why not? A penny saved is a penny earned. Now using common sense... That's worth it's weight in gold!
