Most people plan their days/week out. Especially, if they work 40+ hours a week. Hopefully, she cleared enough time on her busy schedule so you feel like you've had quality time with her. I'm sure you had to check your plans too. I sometimes feel like there aren't enough hours in a day.

I don't think this is that bad. If your mum is busy and you are old enough to take care of yourself, it's nice that she's setting aside a chunk of time to devote to you. If she gives you her undivided attention during that time, what's the problem? It's a date. Now if she completely ignores your assistance until your date or she can't make time for you for weeks on end, there's a problem.
