I have yet to meet a teen who is happy to be a big brother/sister after 14, because generally those are the babysitters automatically every Friday and Saturday so parents can go out. My teens hate the fact that they have a little brother/sister due in early Feb for that reason

I happen to be a little sister. My brother and I are 10 years apart, and he's in his 20's. When I was younger, he may not have had a lot of fun taking care of me, but he did so diligently and without complaining. He never wished he didn't have a little sister. Now I take care of his kids, and use the same kindness and care that he showed me to them.
