Today, I took my girlfriend out to eat at a diner where my friend works. My friend was our waiter but too busy to talk much. He texted me after we'd left to tell me that my girlfriend had slipped him her number. FML

There are multiple scenarios that would explain him having her phone number, and if she is skilled at deception she would know that. The best way to catch her is to have your friend call her and setup a date, then walk in on it. There isn't much she could say to explain that away.
