Today, I tried buying alcohol for the first time. I have a baby face, so I had my ID ready. The store owner admitted that my ID looked real enough, but he wouldn't believe it wasn't just an elaborate fake. He very nearly called the cops on me. FML

Today, I bought a small bottle of liquor to share with my husband to celebrate our move. It took three hours at the store as the cashier, manager, GM, and a police officer checked my ID believing it was fake. I'm 25. FML

Today, I tried to buy a bottle of wine from the supermarket. The scrawny, acne-ridden kid at the checkout asked to see my ID. I didn't have any on me, since I'm 37 years old and didn't expect to be asked stupid questions. I complained to his manager, only to be asked to leave. FML

Today, I got my fake ID and went out with the boys to dinner and the bars. One of my friends asked to see my ID. He noticed my birthday didn't make me over 21. I paid $170 for a fake ID with my real birthday. FML

Today, I went to see a movie. While buying tickets, the girl behind the counter asked to show my ID card to proof I'm at least 16 years old. Not wanting to make a drama, I showed it. She took a look at it and declared it as fake. That ID is real and I'm 24. FML

Today, I drove alone for the first time since I passed my test. I kept getting weird looks from other drivers and got pulled over by a cop. He said I was clearly underage and was sure my license was fake. Almost half an hour later, he finally let me go. I hate having a baby-face. FML

Today, my friends and I went out for drinks. I'm the only one who's actually 21 or over, and they have fake IDs. Not only was I the only one to be carded, the bartender thought that my actual ID was fake. I got kicked out while my friends kept drinking. FML

Today, I sold a customer some beer. He then asked to see the manager, and told me he was a 19 year-old undercover cop. My knee jerk reaction was to panic and curse aloud, before realizing he was balding, toothless, probably 50, certainly not a cop, and laughing at me for being such a gullible moron. FML

Today, I went to buy beer underage for a party to impress a girl. I picked up the case of beer and went to the cashier, he ran it through without asking for ID. I left the store with a smirk on my face, I arrived at the party and showed the case to the girl. It was non-alcoholic. FML

I'm stricken with the forever baby face as well, OP. When I graduated from college I had people ask me if it was high school I was graduating from. We will appreciate it one day.

DMV problems, my license is still a 'minor' one so it says under 21 until my 21st birthday, but it was issued when I turned 21, so whenever I get carded they run like a million security checks on my license.

I know the feeling ? apparently fake id's snap in half very easily. I've gone to bars and have had bouncers bend my license to see if it'll snap and give me a hard time about letting me in. I told him that if he snapped my license, he would be giving me $50 for a new one.... ?

I got ID'd when I went to get a cigarette lighter for my mother in TWO shops in the same day when I was 18. Even though I was in school uniform at the time and I didn't bring my ID/purse, the women at both shops knew my family, who I was and even one of the women's daughters went to my 18th birthday 3 months beforehand (I lived in a tiny village where everyone knows everyone)! If it wasn't for a another shop assistant at the second store who confirmed who I was, I would have broken down crying in the shop, because I just got so annoyed having a babyface! I guess I'm lucky in a way because both sides of my family are very youthful looking... (Btw, the legal age to buy cigarettes, alcohol and...lighters, apparently, is 18 in Ireland).

You should have made him call the cops, they can then easily support your claim. And teach him a lesson. Maybe u should have been calling them in the first place. If u act scared of the cops being called he will go home thinking he was right that a minor tried to use a fake ID on him. YDI big time

I lost my licence for a period when I was younger and hadn't gotten a non-driver's ID card yet, so I was using my passport as ID to buy cigarettes. Many people tried to turn me away because they didn't know where the DOB was or how to verify its authenticity.

I also have a baby face. I'm 20, and airport security still asks me if I'm over the age of 16 and checks my ID to make sure I'm not lying. XD
