Today, I tried buying alcohol for the first time. I have a baby face, so I had my ID ready. The store owner admitted that my ID looked real enough, but he wouldn't believe it wasn't just an elaborate fake. He very nearly called the cops on me. FML

If he called the cops I'd rub it in his face when it is confirmed as a real ID

I'm stricken with the forever baby face as well, OP. When I graduated from college I had people ask me if it was high school I was graduating from. We will appreciate it one day.

I know that feel OP. I work on a county ambulance and I constantly get asked if I'm even old enough to drive. I've had my license for about 10 years.

Haha let him call the cops. He'll look like a tool.

Yeah, that's pretty extreme. I'm 28 and have been asked what high school I go to. *sighs* A friend of my 31 year old sister thought I was ten years younger than her. That's quite a gap.

i also have baby face, but it's weird because the only time i get id'ed is when im with my family. Like i can buy a ton of alcohol on my own, in a bar or the lcbo or whatever, but go out to east side marios with my parents and ask for a sangria? Nope. (well yes, but only after showing id)

are you POSITIVE you don't have just one name like "mclovin"?

Well Babyfaces, the first time they DON'T ask for your ID is like a knife in the heart. Enjoy your youthful looks while you still have them. Time flies! I made until 31 before they stopped asking. ?

You have an inbuilt alcohol protection.

I am there with ya. I am 20 and get called 12 often enough
