Today, I tried to convince my daughter that the "To boldly go where no man has gone before" speech is from Star Trek, and is not an actual historical speech by the first man on the moon. She has decided to include it in her university essay on Neil Armstrong anyway. FML

Community college is always open for people!

Where is Noor's comment? I wanna see what she has to say. This is a brilliant opportunity for a witty commenter like Noor.

Oh, and I'm sorry your daughter has a full cup. (cup being mind)

Hmm If you actually take the meaning of the Quote then it can relate with the paper because maybe she's describing him with the quote bc he did do something bold and did something no one had done before..be the first person to walk on the moon

wow.just.wow... But maybe she could go where NOBODY has gone before on a genius and maybe he will help her with homework? ;) Eh? No?

As long as she didn't write that she was quoting Armstrong it will be fine. It is, after all a relevant quote. I've quoted lord of the rings in my college essays before and I actually seem to always get bonus points for them. As long as you can tie it in some way, go for it.

Umm? How did this dumb ass make it into University?

Sorry, How did she get into university?
