For the record i am a mechanic, but when the caliper bolt snaps on one car and a caliper is seized on another with no way to get replacement parts until next day, no amount of skill/knowledge will help. Cant pull parts out of my ass

You clearly shouldn't be trying to fix things if you don't know how to fix them
Those seem like fairly straightforward things to fix. Unless you were given the wrong brake pads? If so, you could be stuck attempting to make something that is not designed for your car fit where it does not.
OP, thanks for keeping me in business!
I wonder if OP is in management, somewhere? He doesn't have a clue what he is doing but won't admit this so he does it anyway and ends up making things worse. Seems pretty likely.

Well, what kind of mechanic are you if you can't pull parts out of your ass?!
I had a seized calliper, my mechanic managed to temporarily unseize it but it only lasted until the next time I had to apply the brakes heavily. It wasn't fun, it destroyed my brake pads and disc.
I know those feels, man. I buckled in to do my wife's front and rear brakes once and wound up doing calipers, cylinders, drums, rotors... and one line that broke when I disconnected it due to rust... and it went from one to three days as I couldn't find some parts (Saturn Vue, GM parts!). She claimed not to notice the rotor warp but it was pretty impossible not to notice. After all of that... ABS controller went out on me!
First of all, *two. And second of all, this was published on Saturday. Which means it was likely written on the Friday before.
Well, why didn't you say that then. I thought that you just screwed up the car, instead of just not having replacement parts. My bad.
First of all OP should always make sure he has a running car to grab parts no matter how far the places are and not screw up both vehicles. Second of all he sounds like the kind of mechanic that always makes up excuses rather than admitting his mistakes. Third you have no better idea of when the fml actually occurred than I do since people have published FML's but the story happened years ago. So don't be acting like a smart ass #48
Next time, buy Honda
Shouldn't you have all the pieces to the puzzle before you attempt to solve it? Otherwise you just get to non-running vehicles.
I work on breaks and I'm a girl. I've never had any problems, or broken parts.
#52 - you are grasping at straws to be right. What are the chances that both cars would have something turn to shit? Next to none. Don't act like you know everything about the situation and stop accusing people of being smartasses because they have a differing opinion from yours.
Not sure how that matters, #66. A) Lucky you B) Congrats? Your have an innie instead of an outie between your legs... doesn't matter at all.
#65 What happens when you have all the puzzle pieces and your dog eats one mid-way through? That isn't how shit works in reality.
He didn't screw up the oil change smartass
I'm glad I read your comment first, I agree that sucks, no one deserves that happening.
If you don't know what you're doing take it to a professional who does. Seriously OP, you deserved that one.
