so you went up to two girls and said "What time is it?" and they burst out laughing? thats a weird reaction, you should have been like "Im not trying to hit on you ***** i just need to know what time it is" and walk away so they feel bad too

This really doesn't work anymore. Before cell phones, not everyone had a watch, or easy access to a clock while out and about. Now it's expected that you have a mobile device on your person at all times. Also why people don't push others into pools anymore.
