Today, it was my birthday. My family usually gives me a financial gift, but didn't this time and said nothing about it. I cooked my own birthday dinner without help, then washed everyone's dishes. I got my own cake and ate it alone because they were too busy getting drunk. Nobody bothered to sing Happy Birthday either. FML

That happened to me on my 16th birthday... except nobody asked me for money lol turns out though that everyone was ignoring me on purpose for a surprise party later on. I don't wanna get your hopes up, but MAYBE that's why? Do you have a facebook and if so is your birthday posted? That helps a lot lol Have a great birthday and don't let it get you down cause there are clearly a lot of people here on FML that care to wish you :)

Hey Happy Birthday dude or girl from random internet person! lol. However, did you actually tell anyone it was your birthday? I mean at work we don't know people's birthday until they say, and we usually throw them a party afterwork. So yeah, next time say it's your birthday! And I'm more than positive someone will do something for you, however small it may be.
