Today, it was my birthday. My family usually gives me a financial gift, but didn't this time and said nothing about it. I cooked my own birthday dinner without help, then washed everyone's dishes. I got my own cake and ate it alone because they were too busy getting drunk. Nobody bothered to sing Happy Birthday either. FML

That happened to me on my 16th birthday... except nobody asked me for money lol turns out though that everyone was ignoring me on purpose for a surprise party later on. I don't wanna get your hopes up, but MAYBE that's why? Do you have a facebook and if so is your birthday posted? That helps a lot lol Have a great birthday and don't let it get you down cause there are clearly a lot of people here on FML that care to wish you :)

My 22nd birthday was yesterday too. My mom express mailed me a gift, but the post office didn't leave it in my mailbox. I went to pick it up this morning, and it was a card. $13.50 for a card. Inside: "Happy Birthday, the big 22!" -Mom "Did you get health insurance yet?" & A filled out 'survey reciept' for a free drink at Sonic. FML. Happy Birthday dude.

I threw my husband, who turned 22 on the 10th a surprise party, and he was actually pissed at me. Maybe I should have directed my attention towards you instead.
